Strategy
Ironhold Frontier
★★★★☆ 4.2
Ironhold Frontier gives you a small outpost and a lot of decisions. You lay out walls, route your workers, and decide whether to expand fast or dig in. The AI raids aren't just numbers thrown at your gate — they probe your weak side, which forced me to stop building symmetrically and start thinking about angles.
The pacing is slower than most mobile strategy games, and I mean that as a compliment. You can leave it, come back, and pick up your plan without feeling punished. Resource management stays tight enough to matter without turning into a spreadsheet.
It stumbles a little in the tutorial, which throws a lot at you at once. Push past the first two hours and it opens up into something genuinely thoughtful.
